The Scouting BSA program is for youth ages 11-17. Scouts BSA is the traditional Scouting experience where boys and girls can have their share of adventure in the great outdoors. Develop a love of service by volunteering in your community, boost your leadership skills through fun and exciting challenges, and create memories of a lifetime with no prior Scouting experience required!

Troop 105 primarily serves the Long Beach and Los Alamitos areas. The Troop meets every other Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the community room at Bayshore Community Congregational Church, 5100 E. The Toledo, Long Beach, CA 90803

Troop 105's activities are an exciting variety of outdoor and other adventures, conservation projects, community service and educational fun. We have climbed rock faces in Joshua Tree, cleared dead trees at Camp Tahquitz in the San Bernardino mountains, collected mounds of food for the Salvation Army food bank and visited the USS Midway on Memorial weekend to hear first-hand accounts from veterans and share our appreciation for their service during our weekend stay at Camp Surf in San Diego. And there's much more!

In the past five years,  we have launched over 30 Eagle Scouts, the highest rank attainable in Scouting. Our Scouts have matriculated and are attending Berkeley, the U.S. Air Force Academy, UCSD, Embry Riddle, SMU and USC to name a few.
